The Bizcast Volume Nineteen 2010-07-24

We are very excited to present to you Volume Nineteen of The Bizcast featuring a massive amount of live instrumentation. The sampling and beat machines have taken a back seat to the musicianship and improvisation of midi keyboards and multiple synths and bass sounds. You will hear Tim and Phil both playing ample amounts of the sounds that you hear on this Bizcast. We are finding more and more that each time we subdue to our desire to just play music that this form of performance is our forte. We have always been players of music and that passion is rising to the surface of the Biz artform. What you hear in this episode of the podcast is another live performance from The Gypsy House in Denver, CO although this time our friend JP aka The Peacock Revolution was not able to perform with us. We definitely missed the vibe that JP creates but his absense also gave us a chance to expand our set up and try out a few things we haven't done before. We will be looking forward to his return in two weeks when we will also join forces with Moe of Denver local band, Gravity. We hope you enjoy and look forward to the Best of the Bizcast Vol. 2 which will soon be in the works after only one more Bizcast!

The Bizcast Volume Fifteen 2010-02-27

This is the final Bizcast before the release of our debut album, The Ancient Future. After March 2nd, the Bizcast will be taking a turn in a different direction as we begin to prepare for more live shows and also start implementing some of these new tracks into our performances. This episode is no exception to the changes that are coming. In this performance you will hear some live versions of pieces of a few songs that are forthcoming with the Ancient Future. At this point it would be very difficult to know what you hearing, but for future reference the songs "Dialectic," "Moon Phase," "Exact Change," and "Universal Mystic" have all been secretly mixed into this Bizcast.

The Bizcast Volume Twelve 2010-02-06

This is the edited version of our live stream from Friday Night. Bizcast Volume Twelve was not as well attended as last week, so we may try to start moving the weekly stream to Wednesday or Thursday. The visuals by Leigh this week were very excellent as we began to incorporate more of our logo and official artwork from our upcoming release Ancient Future.

The Bizcast Volume Ten 2010-01-23

Volume Ten was a hit! Thursday night we set up the rig much earlier than last time and managed to make this episode exactly an hour. Look for video highlights to be released later this weekend on YouTube. The vibe was very different than the previous times, but we feel it was much tighter and seemed to wander into many different styles over the evening. We changed times in order to make plans on Friday night. We were all in attendance of first Elm and Oak party in Denver, CO and it was off the hook. Very inspiring. The time for the next Bizcast is still up in the air, so stay tuned and we will post an announcement on Facebook, etc.

The Bizcast Volume Eight 2010-01-09

This Bizcast marks a major turning point for the way we will be releasing our future episodes. Tim, Leigh, and I all had a great success doing a live stream of our music and videos last night. In case you missed it you can find it in the previous post on our site. After this week's release, you can tune in live on Friday nights with us as we make our tunes and videos on the spot and broadcast it to the world. After the live broadcast we will release the recordings to you on the following Saturday in podcast style. This week's podcast was not broadcast live, and it will be the last podcast that is composed previous to its release. Enjoy and don't forget to check out the new Fresh Hats Tight Beats release, The ReIntroduction EP at http://www.freshhatstightbeats.com

Video Bizcast Volume Five 2009-12-19

Tim and I took a late night adventure the other night to bring you this Video Bizcast. We look forward to having Bernstafunk back on the visuals next time. Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays.

The Bizcast Volume Five is a special Xmas Mix for all you old time homies. I hope that this makes you feel all white and snowy. Tim and I decided to postpone our originally scheduled jams until next week. This podcast is the shortest of all the episodes so far, but we believe you will find it bumpin for your holidays happenings. Stay Fresh!

VJ Bernstafunk brings you the first video feed from The Biz. We are so excited to bring you live video produced on the eve of the release of Bizcast Volume Four. Please absorb and share.

The Biz celebrates one month of Podcasts with this release. We are very excited to bring you this mix as our sound is beginning to find focus. Volume Four is shorter than our last few episodes, but we believe that this 45 minutes is more concentrated with goodness than our longer mixes. This has been an exciting week as Tim has been competing to win a feature artist spot on the Windows Playlist 7 campaign.

The Bizcast Volume Two 2009-11-28

Tim Santos and Phil Buck continue their collaborations as The Biz. Although still heavily sample based, we are using our guitars much more throughout this mix to give our sound more organic elements. This mix is an hour and six minutes and contains over five different live mixes and one new track we have been producing together in its earliest stage.
