THe Bizcast Volume Seventeen 2010-04-17

The Biz is back at it again! After a short break and a good two week tour of the South-east, we have settled back into our own digs and gotten back to our roots of home recording. While out on the road, P Buck had his bass swiped by a guy asking for some major karmic trouble. On the upside of that situation, we have been taking our sound in a more electronic direction which means we are simplifying our rig and leaving our instruments on the sidelines for now. In this Bizcast, you will be hearing a lot of remixes of pop tunes as well as Biz tracks. Coming in at one hour and fourteen minutes, this podcast is a doozie of a listener... but stay tuned and you will find its filled with many worthwhile surprises.

The Bizcast Volume Sixteen 2010-03-13

This episode of the Bizcast spans more than 24 hours of our beat making shenanigans. We did our regular live stream on Thursday Night. On Friday Tim and Leigh and the crew went to see Maceo Parker. After the show, Phil and Tim mixed some live tracks for about 2 hours. You can hear a bit of it here.

The Bizcast Volume Fifteen 2010-02-27

This is the final Bizcast before the release of our debut album, The Ancient Future. After March 2nd, the Bizcast will be taking a turn in a different direction as we begin to prepare for more live shows and also start implementing some of these new tracks into our performances. This episode is no exception to the changes that are coming. In this performance you will hear some live versions of pieces of a few songs that are forthcoming with the Ancient Future. At this point it would be very difficult to know what you hearing, but for future reference the songs "Dialectic," "Moon Phase," "Exact Change," and "Universal Mystic" have all been secretly mixed into this Bizcast.

The Bizcast Volume Fourteen 2010-02-20

This is the second to last Bizcast until the Ancient Future. The album will drop 03/02/10 and we are very excited to start lining up tour dates. We hope to see you out west or down south in the spring as we promote our debut release as The Biz. This week's Bizcast was well attended by good friends. It seems as though Thursday nights may be the best bet for internet shows. Enjoy roughly forty minutes of our fully improvised jam and look for highlight videos as well. Tune in next week for the last Bizcast before the Ancient Future. Also on Tuesday, Feb 26th we are asking all our friends to change their facebook, twitter or myspace status to "The Ancient Future is coming..." in support of the release one week later.

The Bizcast Volume Thirteen 2010-02-13

Oh, the number 13. This week's BizCast is special in a numerical sort of way in that it's the 13th BizCast and it has been released on February 13th. We feel this is a sign that the Ancient Future is eminent. Another hour long, completely improvised jam session, this BizCast was really fun to produce and we are very excited about all the things we have planned for the upcoming months. Stay tuned for more!

The Bizcast Volume Twelve 2010-02-06

This is the edited version of our live stream from Friday Night. Bizcast Volume Twelve was not as well attended as last week, so we may try to start moving the weekly stream to Wednesday or Thursday. The visuals by Leigh this week were very excellent as we began to incorporate more of our logo and official artwork from our upcoming release Ancient Future.

Another live broadcast from Denver, CO, the Biz brings you live tunes and video on a Full Moon. Our friends, Matt and Zach will be performing as Fresh Hats Tight Beats at the Full Moon Club in Memphis, TN on Feb 6th. Be sure to check them out.
This Bizcast was bumpin as we are anticipating the release of the new FHTB track "See the Chain, Know the Biz" on reverbnation.com/playlist7.
Stay tuned as big moves are just around the bend.
